Shift Manager – Papa John's Pizza Wrexham

Location: Wrexham
Position: Shift Manager
Salary: £30,000–£32,000 per annum

Papa John's Pizza Wrexham is looking for ambitious, motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our growing team as a Shift Manager.

We’re looking for people who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have a positive attitude and are ready to take responsibility for helping lead a successful store. If you’re passionate about great customer service, developing people and delivering results, we’d like to hear from you.

The Role

As a Shift Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running and performance of the store. Working alongside the Store Manager, you’ll help lead and motivate the team while ensuring our customers consistently receive great service and high-quality pizza.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading by example and creating a positive, friendly and productive working environment.
  • Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high product-quality standards.
  • Training, coaching and motivating team members to perform at their best.
  • Supporting the Store Manager with the day-to-day operation of the store.
  • Driving sales and helping maximise store profitability.
  • Managing key performance indicators, including sales, food costs and labour.
  • Maintaining excellent operational, cleanliness and food-safety standards.
  • Ensuring orders are prepared accurately and delivered to customers efficiently.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve store performance.
  • Working with a strong sense of urgency while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience with Papa John's, Domino's, Pizza Hut or another major pizza/QSR brand would be an advantage.
  • Previous management experience within the restaurant, QSR or food-delivery industry
  • At least two years' supervisory experience within catering or hospitality.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • The ability to motivate, train and develop a team.
  • A customer-focused approach and a passion for delivering high standards.
  • Good commercial awareness and an understanding of sales, labour and food-cost targets.
  • The confidence to make decisions and solve problems in a busy environment.
  • A full driving licence valid for use in the UK and access to a vehicle.
