Join Our Family-Run Italian Restaurant

Valentina Restaurant in Weybridge is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to help lead our team and deliver exceptional hospitality. As a family-run Italian restaurant and delicatessen, we pride ourselves on authentic food, warm service, and creating memorable experiences for every guest. Valentina has been serving local communities since 1991 and continues to grow while staying true to its Italian heritage.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional who enjoys leading teams, developing people, and ensuring the highest standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Restaurant Manager in the daily operation of the restaurant.
  • Lead and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
  • Assist with recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Manage shifts effectively, ensuring smooth service during busy periods.
  • Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company procedures.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control.
  • Help achieve sales targets, labour budgets, and operational goals.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Supervisor, Team Leader, or Assistant Manager within hospitality.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Passion for food, wine, and excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexible approach to evenings, weekends, and holidays.
