Food & Beverage Supervisor The Abbey Hotel, Redditch

Are you a passionate hospitality professional who enjoys leading a team and delivering exceptional guest experiences? The Abbey Hotel Redditch is looking for an enthusiastic Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our Food & Beverage team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy hotel environment, enjoys supporting and developing a team, and takes pride in delivering outstanding service across our restaurant, bar and events.

The Role

As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you'll help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our Food & Beverage department. You'll lead shifts, support the team, maintain high service standards, and create a welcoming experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily operation of the restaurant, bar and event service.
  • Lead shifts and support the team in delivering excellent customer service.
  • Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and service.
  • Coach, motivate and support team members.
  • Assist with training and onboarding new colleagues.
  • Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve issues promptly.
  • Support staffing levels and labour control.
  • Help maximise sales and achieve departmental targets.
  • Ensure food safety, health & safety and company procedures are followed at all times.
  • Be a hands-on supervisor, leading by example during busy service periods.

About You

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous supervisory experience within hospitality, ideally in a hotel or busy food and beverage environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • A passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
