Location: Amersham-on-the-Hill
Pay: £13 per hour

Busy pizzeria seeking a reliable Kitchen Assistant / KP to support a fast-paced service.

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our busy culinary team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kitchen environment, ensuring smooth daily operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining experience within the hospitality and food service industry, with potential pathways to develop culinary skills and knowledge. The role involves supporting chefs and kitchen staff by handling basic food preparation tasks and maintaining hygiene standards in a fast-paced setting.

Key Duties:

  • Pot wash, dishwashing, and kitchen cleaning
  • Maintain hygiene & food safety standards
  • Basic food prep & prep cooking (veg prep, sauces, portioning – non-dough)
  • Stock organisation & deliveries
  • Waste management & closing cleans

Requirements:

  • Hard-working, punctual, team player
  • Works well under pressure
  • Strong organisational skills and time management
  • Previous KP/kitchen experience preferred
