Exciting opportunity to join Sheffields latest micro pub at Hillsborough.

Small family business at Hillsborough, the pub is being renovated now so you would literally help set up the new business and run it from the ground up.

It’s 25 seater micro pub with an upmarket look

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager On Duty to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth service delivery, maintaining high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction, and supervising staff members. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in food preparation, restaurant management, and team leadership to contribute to a dynamic team environment.

Duties

  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant or hospitality operations during assigned shifts, ensuring efficient service and guest satisfaction
  • Supervise and support staff, including front-of-house and kitchen personnel, fostering a positive team environment
  • Monitor food preparation and presentation to uphold quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety policies
  • Manage customer concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues to maintain high service standards
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff on food production schedules and menu offerings
  • reservations, and point-of-sale transactions
  • Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences, including serving guests when necessary
  • Conduct staff training sessions on food safety, service protocols, and operational procedures

Skills
