Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Wait Staff to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills and work within a vibrant culinary setting, contributing to the overall success of our establishment.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales.
  • Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
  • Clear tables efficiently and prepare the dining area for subsequent guests.
  • Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen duties as required, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of service stations, dining areas, and workstations in compliance with health regulations.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery.

Experience

  • Prior experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with serving procedures, guest services, and upselling techniques will be beneficial.
  • Good organisational skills, including time management and multitasking abilities, are essential for success in this role.
  • Previous kitchen or culinary experience can be an asset but is not mandatory; a willingness to learn is key.
