Weekend Front of House / Barista (Experienced Only – Please Do Not Apply Without Experience)

Location: The Game Changer Kitchen

Start: Immediate start available

The Game Changer Kitchen is looking for an experienced, confident front of house team member who is also comfortable using a coffee machine when required.

Experienced applicants only – please do not apply without barista or busy café experience.

Our weekends are fast-paced, high-energy and very busy, so we need someone bubbly, confident with customers, and able to work efficiently under pressure.

The Role

You’ll mainly be working front of house serving customers, but must also be comfortable jumping on the coffee machine when needed.

Weekend service can be very busy, with 100–150+ drinks produced in a few hours, so confidence and speed are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Serving customers and delivering friendly, confident service
  • Preparing coffees, teas and drinks when required
  • Supporting the coffee bar during busy periods
  • Managing workflow during peak service
  • Keeping the front of house and coffee area clean and organised
  • Taking initiative and supporting the team when needed

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year hospitality experience in a busy café (essential)
  • Confident using an espresso machine independently
  • Able to work quickly without sacrificing quality
  • Friendly, positive and confident with customers
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Comfortable working in a fast, busy service
