Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Team Member to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in restaurant operations, guest services, and food safety. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where excellent customer service and culinary skills are highly valued. Duties

  • Provide exceptional guest service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and attending to customer needs with professionalism and friendliness.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, kitchen, and service stations.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using basic maths skills and operate POS systems efficiently.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver a seamless dining experience for all guests.

Experience

  • Previous experience working in a hospitality or restaurant environment is essential.
  • Proven ability in serving, food safety practices.
  • Familiarity with kitchen operations and culinary processes is desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills focused on guest satisfaction and team collaboration.
  • Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest experience is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices within the hospitality industry is preferred.
