Full job description

Faversham Nursing Home is a small friendly Nursing home located in the heart of Urmston. We are currently looking to recruit a kitchen assistant (with mealtime support) to join our outstanding team.

This role involves supporting the kitchen with food preperation, serving meals, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and assisting with the smooth running of the kitchen.

A key part of the tole is providing support to our residents during mealtimes. This includes helping residents to eat and drink where required, encouraging independence where possible and ensuring everyone has a positive, safe and enjoyable dining experience. Compassion, patience and excellent communication skills are essential.

The working hours are 07:00-14:00 three days per week, the role includes alternative weekend work.

Job Types: Permanent, Part-time

Pay: £12.71 per hour
