Duties

  • Lead restaurant operations during service, maintaining a visible and affable floor presence
  • Ensure restaurants and all other F&B products are delivered accurately, consistently and to specification
  • Assist with training and coaching so team members understand the restaurant's offering and can deliver it with confidence
  • Demonstrate and maintain strong restaurant knowledge and confidently advise guests on selections and pairings for wine etc
  • Support menu development, seasonal features and premium upselling where appropriate
  • Support effective stock control procedures
  • Drive revenue through confident upselling, premium serves and product knowledge, while maintaining service standards
  • Ensure all health, safety, licensing and food hygiene standards are always followed
  • Maintain clean, safe and organised restaurant and cellar areas

As the successful Assistant Restaurant Manager will need the following

  • Experience in a formal restaurant/pub setting.
  • Be a great communicator with a dynamic and charismatic approach.
  • Impeccable standards of service with a passion for exceptional food and quality wines and cocktails
  • A warm and friendly personality, with a flair for recognising and exceeding guest expectations.
  • Experience as an Assistant Manager or Manager in a similar environment
  • Personable and trustworthy
  • Be local to the area or have own transport.
