Job Overview
At The Kitchen & Co, the Front of House staff are responsible for ensuring a seamless, enjoyable experience for all guests during the wedding reception, breakfast and evening. This role requires excellent service and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage fast-paced situations while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour to all wedding guests. Some weekend working is expected due to the nature of the event-based roles.

Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and positive first impression.
  • Trayed drink service
  • Respond to guest inquiries, address concerns, and provide assistance throughout their visit.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by anticipating needs and offering personalised service.
  • Handle any special requests, dietary restrictions, or other guest needs.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high presentation standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Support catering events as required, assisting with efficient setup, service, and breakdown.

Skills

  • Strong hospitality skills with a genuine passion for customer service.
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or event setting is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
