Full job description

Leef Property Group is looking for a hands-on Building Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of All Six House – a 40-unit luxury apartment development in the heart of Manchester City Centre

This is a practical, front-facing role. You’ll be based on site, managing the building and a first point of contact for residents as well as making sure standards remain high across the development.

The Role

You’ll take responsibility for the smooth operation of the building, including:

Tenancy & Apartment Management

  • Carrying out mid-term inspections across all apartments
  • Completing inventories, check-ins and check-outs
  • Managing end-of-tenancy processes and reporting
  • Processing applications and handling tenant referencing
  • Ensuring all tenancy paperwork is accurate and up to date

Day-to-Day Site Management

  • Undertaking regular site walks to ensure the building is safe, clean and fully operational
  • Responding to maintenance issues and coordinating contractors
  • Reporting building matters to the Property Manager
  • Meeting contractors and visitors on site when required
  • Overseeing deliveries and ensuring they are handled correctly

Resident Relations

  • Acting as the main point of contact for tenants
  • Building strong, professional relationships with residents
  • Dealing with queries promptly and professionally
  • Supporting smooth move-ins and move-outs

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised and able to manage a busy workload
  • Confident dealing with people face-to-face
  • Practical and proactive in resolving issues
  • Professional, approachable and solutions-focused
  • Comfortable working independently on site

Previous experience in property, residential management, or a similar customer-facing role would be advantageous.

Working hours: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm

Pay: £25,000.00 per year
