Part-Time Chef – 10–15 Hours Per Week

We’re looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and passionate Part-Time Chef to join our friendly kitchen team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced chef who is looking for around 10–15 hours per week, whether you’re looking for a flexible part-time role, want to fit work around other commitments, or simply enjoy being part of a busy and friendly kitchen.

The Role

As our Part-Time Chef, you’ll play an important role in preparing and serving great-quality food while helping to keep the kitchen running smoothly.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to a consistently high standard
  • Completing food preparation, including chopping, marinating, portioning and prepping ingredients
  • Following recipes and portion sizes while bringing your own experience and creativity to the kitchen
  • Ensuring all food is prepared and stored safely in line with food hygiene standards
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe kitchen at all times
  • Assisting with plating and serving food during busy periods
  • Working closely with the rest of the team to ensure smooth and timely service
  • Helping with general kitchen duties when required
  • Providing friendly and professional service to guests when needed
  • Ability to run the kitchen on your own, as will be required at least once a week

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience working as a Chef or in a professional kitchen
  • Is confident working in a busy kitchen environment
  • Takes pride in the quality and presentation of their food
  • Has a good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety
  • Can work independently but also enjoys being part of a team
  • Is reliable, organised and has a positive attitude
  • Has good knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
  • Is happy to get stuck in and support the wider team when needed

Restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable.
