Front of House Assistant

Location: Bridport Bingham Grange

Job Type: Part time/ Seasonal

Are you passionate about the great outdoors and delivering top-tier hospitality? The Caravan and Motorhome Club provides over one million members access to nearly 2,700 locations across the UK and Europe. We are looking for a welcoming, energetic Front of House Assistant to join our site team and help create an unforgettable experience for our guests.
What You’ll DoAs the face of our site complex, you will deliver a warm, first-class customer experience across our café and bar operations:

  • Guest Experience: Serve as the primary point of contact, delivering excellent hospitality and a friendly, confident welcome.
  • Food & Beverage: Prepare, heat, and serve quality food and drinks using commercial catering equipment, maintaining high presentation standards.
  • Till & Sales: Operate the EPOS system, handle cash and card transactions securely, and actively promote products to boost daily revenue.
  • Stock & Presentation: Maintain well-stocked, attractive displays in the bar and café areas in line with Club guidelines.
  • Cleanliness & Safety: Keep all areas spotless, adhere to strict Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations, follow manual handling procedures, and report potential hazards.
  • Teamwork & Operations: Collaborate closely with colleagues, participate in required training, and assist Site Managers with general site tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For

  • Customer-First Mindset: Previous customer-facing experience, ideally in a café, bar, or hospitality environment.
  • Strong Communication: A natural, warm demeanor with the ability to engage comfortably with guests and team members.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays to support peak site times.
  • Proactive Attitude: A hands-on team player who takes initiative and adapts easily to daily operational needs.
