Join Our Kitchen Team

Chevin Country Park Hotel & Spa is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Casual Commis Chef to support our busy kitchen operation on a flexible, casual basis.

Nestled within stunning woodland surroundings, our hotel caters for restaurant guests, weddings, conferences, private events, and spa visitors. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their culinary skills within a professional and supportive environment while enjoying flexible working hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes across all areas of the kitchen.
  • Support senior chefs with daily food preparation and service.
  • Ensure ingredients are prepared and stored correctly.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, and health & safety.
  • Assist with stock rotation and kitchen organisation.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to deliver excellent guest experiences.

About You

  • Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential.
  • A genuine passion for food and hospitality.
  • Willingness to learn and develop culinary skills.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
