We’re seeking an experienced individual to take on the role of Assistant Café Manager at Park Life Café at Towneley Park. This role will be responsible for leading and managing all day-to-day operations whilst delivering an exceptional experience for our customers.

The Role:

• Working collaboratively with the General Manager to oversee the daily operations, ensuring a seamless service and stepping into a leadership role in their absence.
• Responsible for the delegation of tasks and duties, maintaining high standards of health & safety, and delivering exceptional customer service standards.
• Ensuring the consistent delivery of brand standards across all food and drink offerings. We pride ourselves on our specialty coffee so Barista experience is essential.
• Carry out key holder duties - opening and closing of the café, cashing up etc.
• Deliver outstanding customer experiences through warm, friendly and attentive hospitality, efficient till operation, and prompt table service. Handle customer inquiries and feedback with professionalism and care.
• Provide flexible support across other areas of the business, such as providing job shadowing to newly onboarded team members, or supporting events and new café mobilisations.
• Assisting with catering and special functions when required - contributing to setup, service, and breakdown.

About You:

• Highly organised with great attention to detail and the ability to adapt quickly ever changing priorities and headlines.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage own workload and possess a positive attitude.
• A confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers and stakeholders.
• Ability to motivate, develop and train team members with a positive approach towards professional development.
• Have the ability to ensure brand standards and processes are adhered to by all team members.
• Previous experience in a restaurant, café or catering management.
• Health & Safety and Food Hygiene qualifications
