We're excited to be launching a new Hospitality venture at Howe Bridge Crematorium – a welcoming Community Coffee Hub designed to provide visitors with a peaceful place to take away a hot drink and light refreshments while spending time in our beautiful grounds.

You'll be responsible for the day to day running of the Community Coffee Hub, preparing and serving hot and cold drinks, light snacks and refreshments, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and providing a warm, welcoming experience for every visitor.

The Community Coffee Hub is located separately from the main crematorium building, so you'll need to be confident working independently and managing your own workload throughout the day.

  • Opening and closing the Community Coffee Hub.

Overall Accountability:

  • To own the Community Coffee Hub and be instrumental in its ongoing development.
  • Maintain exemplary food hygiene in line with internal and EHO standards.
  • Accurate stock handling

About you

  • Previous Hospitality experience working in a Front of House or Back of House Hospitality setting in a café / restaurant / bar / hotel etc as a Hospitality Assistant / Barista / Waiter / Waitress / Server / Kitchen Assistant would be preferred.
  • Food Hygiene Certificate – Level 2 (training provided).
  • A real team player with natural compassion and the desire to make a difference every day.
  • Flexible in approach to working hours.
  • Comfortable communicator able to speak to people in a caring and understanding manner and provide a first class level of customer service.
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail.
