JOB VACANCY – KITCHEN ASSISTANT / KP (Kitchen Porter)
Kiki Indian Restaurant – Bournemouth

Kiki Indian Restaurant in Bournemouth is currently looking for a Kitchen Assistant / KP (Kitchen Porter) to join our friendly and hardworking team.

Job Role:

As a Kitchen Assistant / KP, your main duties will include:

  • Washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
  • Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy at all times
  • Assisting chefs with basic food preparation (when required)
  • Cleaning kitchen surfaces, floors, fridges, and storage areas
  • Supporting the kitchen team during busy service hours
  • Ensuring hygiene and health & safety standards are followed

Requirements:

  • Previous kitchen or KP experience preferred (but not essential)
  • Hardworking, reliable, and punctual
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
