Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, take orders accurately, and deliver exceptional customer service throughout their visit.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining space, and service stations to uphold health and safety standards.
• Manage cash transactions efficiently using POS systems, handle payments accurately, and provide correct change.
• Monitor stock levels of beverages and supplies; assist with inventory checks and restocking as needed.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to create a lively, welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits.
• Checking in our bed and breakfast guests
• Taking food orders and delivering food always ensuring the customer has everything they require

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable but full training can be given
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Skills in bartending, serving drinks, and engaging with customers confidently.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Strong time management abilities to prioritize tasks during busy periods.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
