Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our team working alongside our Head Chef on a full time basis, working five days per week. The ideal candidate will bring culinary expertise, creativity, and a dedication to delivering high-quality meals. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced chefs to showcase their talents in a dynamic environment, contributing to the preparation of delicious dishes for our valued clients.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
  • Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Assist in menu planning and develop new culinary ideas to enhance our offerings
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times
  • Manage ingredient stock levels, including ordering supplies as needed
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
  • Serve meals efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
  • Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a chef within a restaurant or catering setting
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
  • Excellent skills in meal preparation and culinary techniques
  • Prior experience in a kitchen environment is highly desirable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure
  • Good organisational skills with attention to detail
