About the role

This is a role that blends quality, efficiency and care. You’ll know what it takes to hand prepare fish in the best way and you’ll scale, gut, skin, fillet and prepare to meet every customer specification. You’re on top of health and safety for the preparation of fish and shellfish and you take pride in how you manage stock levels and monitoring. And you’ll be a proven team player, balancing skills in your role with communication skills to build trusted relationships in your team. You don’t mind rolling your sleeves up and helping out and you’ll have an appetite for growing in your role through training and development.


Skills and experience

Your previous career experience will be vital for this role. And your ability to operate independently and as part of a team is a key requirement. You’ll have been trained, and proved efficient, with all aspects of fish preparation – using the right tools, health and safety, and stock management. You know the environment and you’ll know how to keep positive and warm in your personality, even in a cold setting. You’ll also know and thrive in a deadline driven environment.

This is a day shift position, Monday to Friday 7am - 4:30pm, 9h shift plus 30 minutes unpaid break
