Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Commis Chef to join our culinary team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a busy restaurant environment, supporting the senior kitchen staff in preparing high-quality dishes. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to established recipes and standards
  • Support the team with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all kitchen activities
  • Ensure all workstations are kept clean, organised, and stocked with necessary ingredients and utensils
  • Help with plating and presentation of dishes to meet quality standards
  • Follow instructions from senior chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations

  • Assist in stock rotation and inventory checks as required

Experience
