Overview
You must have 2+ years bar and serving experience. Please do not apply if you do not meet these requirements. We are looking for someone reliable, hard working, ans experienced in hospitality. Opportunity for progression, approx 30 hours a week, must be flexible and able to cover other shifts.

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our patrons while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced setting and possess a passion for the hospitality industry.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with standard recipes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
  • Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Handle cash transactions efficiently and maintain accurate records of sales.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Assist in restocking supplies and inventory management as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.

Skills

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or bartending role is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of basic maths for handling cash transactions and managing tabs.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
  • A solid understanding of food safety practices to maintain a hygienic work environment.
  • Exceptional hospitality skills, with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for guests.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
