Pizza Chef – Rossella Kentish Town

Rossella is a well-established and much-loved family-run Italian restaurant brand, serving the local community for over 12 years.

Following the success of our original Kentish Town restaurant, we have recently opened our brand-new site in Muswell Hill and are now looking for a passionate and experienced Pizza Chef to join the team.

Known for our authentic Italian food, warm atmosphere and genuine hospitality, this is a fantastic opportunity for a strong chef looking to work with fresh ingredients, a supportive team and a growing independent business.

This role is very hands-on and service focused. You will spend 2 days a week working on the pizza section and 2 days supporting across other kitchen sections where needed, helping maintain consistency and quality throughout service.

We are specifically looking for someone with strong experience working in busy Italian restaurants who understands pizza dough, fast-paced service, organised prep and the importance of consistency. Experience working across different kitchen sections is highly valued. A genuine passion for Italian food and culture is essential.

The Good Stuff:

  • Salary £40,000–£42,000 depending on experience
  • 4 days on, 3 days off
  • Closed Sundays

You’ll work closely with high-quality suppliers and products, including ingredients from our own family farm and vineyard in Benevento, Italy.

We are looking for someone organised, passionate about food, calm under pressure and confident working within a busy kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run and manage the pizza section during service
  • Work across multiple sections throughout the week
  • Maintain high food quality, consistency and presentation
  • Support the Head Chef and wider kitchen team during busy services
  • Assist with stock control and minimising waste
  • Maintain excellent hygiene and food safety standards
  • Work closely with the Front of House team to deliver a great guest experience
