Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional hospitality and ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing assistance to both customers and kitchen staff. A passion for the culinary arts and a commitment to food safety are essential for success in this role. Evenings and weekends are a must for this role. Wage is dependent on ages to meet with minimum wage requirements. Must be able to work weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests with a friendly attitude, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders using basic maths skills to ensure precision in billing.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and hygiene.
  • Assist with food preparation as required, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any customer needs or concerns efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining & Kitchen area, including tables, chairs, and service stations, to create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Handle cash transactions responsibly and accurately process payments

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently while providing excellent service.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
  • A background in culinary arts or kitchen operations would be beneficial for understanding menu items better.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service within a team environment.
