Full job description

The Role

As part of our front of house team, you’ll be the friendly face our members and guests remember. We are seeking someone with a professional manner, looking to progress their career in hospitality. Note this is a permanent, full time position, not just seasonal work.

What You'll Do

  • Greet customers, serve drinks, wait tables
  • Take orders, process payments, ensure efficient service
  • Keep the bar and restaurant area clean and organised, including restocking supplies
  • Guide junior staff with standard operating procedures
  • Opening and closing procedures, cash handling, daily reporting
  • Help make private hire events memorable and magical
  • Address complaints, report to management

Skills and qualifications

  • A passion for hospitality. Service can be transactional, hospitality is a feeling. If you know, you know!
  • A social, fun-loving persona. Be part of a close knit team
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to listen
  • Ability to multitask during busy service
  • Desire to upsell and encourage repeat custom
  • Get to know members and regular customers: names, favourite drinks, rubbish jokes!
  • Stamina to work long shifts and endure physical activity
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
