About the Role

As a Commis Chef, you'll work alongside experienced chefs, supporting the preparation and delivery of high-quality dishes while developing your skills in a professional kitchen. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare fresh ingredients and assist with food preparation.
  • Support the kitchen team during service across the restaurant, hotel and events.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency.
  • Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
  • Keep workstations clean, organised and well stocked.
  • Learn from senior chefs and develop your culinary skills.

What We're Looking For

  • A genuine passion for cooking and quality food.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential.
  • A catering qualification is an advantage but not required.
