Full job description

** Option of Part Time **

We're growing, so need a Trainee / Commis Chef for our small independent pub restaurant (currently 350+ covers weekly) which caters for freshly prepared, traditional British food with a twist. Up to £30k + generous tips + flexible hours + pension + paid holiday + subsidised food & drink for the right candidate who will need to:

  • Bring to the role/be willing to learn basic kitchen skills in prepping food, cooking food, observing food safety processes, observing safe systems of working, cleaning, monitoring equipment, rotating stock, completing supporting paperwork and so on,
  • Up to 45hrs per week,
  • Must have own transport or be able to get to Egham train station/use the hourly bus service to the village,
  • Must be able to work independently,
  • Must be willing to complete training as reasonably required in the role,
