Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shift Leader specialising in Food & Beverages to oversee daily operations within our hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for culinary excellence, and a thorough understanding of food safety and service standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead a team, ensure high-quality service, and contribute to the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during your shift, ensuring smooth operation of food and beverage services
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards and efficiency
  • Manage food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations and organisational policies
  • Assist in kitchen operations, including food production, presentation, and service delivery
  • Support team members with training, mentoring, and performance management to foster a motivated work environment
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through attentive service, resolving any issues promptly and professionally
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and service areas
  • Collaborate with management to implement operational procedures and optimise workflow

Experience

  • Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations
  • Experience in team management, leadership roles, or supervisory positions in food service environments
  • Knowledge of food production processes, serving techniques, and hospitality best practices
  • Additional experience such as barista work or hotel service roles is advantageous but not essential

Pay: £12.81-£13.00 per hour
