Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess a friendly demeanour, and be eager to contribute to a vibrant team atmosphere. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in serving, food safety, and time management within a dynamic environment.

Duties

  • Serve drinks and beverages efficiently and courteously to customers
  • Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments using the point-of-sale system
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area throughout shifts
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times
  • Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service operations
  • Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing excellent hospitality at all times
  • Assist in setting up and clearing tables when required
  • Follow responsible alcohol service policies and recognise signs of intoxication or potential issues

Experience

  • Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
  • Strong time management skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
