Front of House Team Member (Part-Time, Permanent)

Greek Corner – Chobham, Surrey

Greek Corner is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Front of House Team Member to join our team immediately on a permanent, part-time basis.

We are ideally looking for someone with previous front-of-house or hospitality experience who enjoys providing excellent customer service and working in a busy restaurant environment.

Preferred start date: asap

Working hours

  • Thursday to Saturday evenings (6pm - close)
  • Approximately 9-14 hours per week, depending on the needs of the business
  • Weekly rota provided in advance
  • Must be available to continue working during holidays
  • Must be age 18 and over as the job includes alcohol sales

Pay and benefits

  • National Minimum Wage, based on age

Main responsibilities

  • Welcoming and seating customers
  • Taking food and drink orders
  • Serving food and alcoholic beverages
  • Processing customer payments
  • Keeping the front-of-house area clean and organised
  • Providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere
  • Managing the front of house independently during some shifts
  • Supporting the wider team during busy service periods

What we’re looking for

  • Must be aged 18 or over, as the role involves independently selling alcohol and regularly working as the sole front-of-house team member
  • Previous front-of-house or hospitality experience preferred
  • Friendly, confident and professional with customers
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Reliable, punctual and well presented
  • Able to work efficiently and independently in a busy restaurant
  • Available to work Thursday to Saturday evenings
  • Right to work in the UK
