Overview
We are seeking an experienced friendly and professional Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service in a lively restaurant environment, ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary knowledge and customer service skills within a supportive team.

Duties

  • Greet all guests warmly upon arrival
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required, adhering to food safety standards
  • Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities in a friendly manner
  • Clear tables efficiently, ensuring the dining area remains tidy and inviting
  • Handle payments accurately using the point-of-sale system
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment in line with health and safety regulations
  • Support kitchen staff with basic tasks when needed, contributing to smooth service flow

Skills

  • Experience of bar work
  • Knowledge of food safety procedures and hygiene standards
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions and cash management
