We are seeking an experienced friendly and professional Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant hospitality team. Previous restaurant experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. Duties

• Greet all guests warmly upon arrival
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required, adhering to food safety standards
• Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities in a friendly manner
• Clear tables efficiently, ensuring the dining area remains tidy and inviting
• Handle payments accurately using the point-of-sale system
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment in line with health and safety regulations
• Support kitchen staff with basic tasks when needed, contributing to smooth service flow

Skills

• Experience of bar work
• Knowledge of food safety procedures and hygiene standards
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions and cash management
• Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks during busy periods
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
• Food preparation or culinary experience is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of kitchen operations
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales potential
• Organised with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a lively environment
