Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager for our restaurant to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and lead a motivated team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering high-quality food and hospitality. This role involves managing food preparation, supervising staff, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring the smooth running of the establishment to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving processes.
  • Lead and supervise a team of staff members, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring high levels of team performance.
  • Manage staff scheduling, training programmes, and performance appraisals to optimise productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene across all areas.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to minimise waste and maximise efficiency.
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Implement marketing initiatives to promote the restaurant and increase customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure quality control in food production and presentation.

Requirements

  • Proven supervisory or team management experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop staff members.
  • Familiarity with culinary processes, food production, and kitchen operations.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Experience in hospitality service roles such as serving or barista work is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of health regulations related to food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Previous hotel or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential.
