The Farmhouse Restaurant and Maison De Fumee is seeking a talented and experienced Shisha Maker to join our prestigious team. As a high-end establishment, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and a premium shisha experience for our guests. We are looking for a passionate professional who thrives in a refined environment and is dedicated to creating memorable experiences through expertly prepared and presented shisha.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve premium-quality shisha using the finest flavours, tobacco, and accessories.
  • Ensure every shisha is prepared to the highest standard, delivering consistent flavour, smoke quality, and presentation.
  • Provide an exceptional level of customer service, engaging with guests professionally and making flavour recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Maintain and clean all shisha equipment, ensuring hygiene, safety, and compliance with health regulations.
  • Monitor and manage coal changes throughout the guest experience to maintain optimum performance.
  • Assist in developing and refining the restaurant's premium shisha menu, introducing new flavour combinations and industry trends.
  • Monitor stock levels of flavours, charcoal, and accessories, reporting shortages and assisting with inventory management.
  • Ensure all preparation and service areas remain clean, organised, and presented to the highest standards.
  • Support and train junior team members on correct shisha preparation, maintenance, and service standards.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Shisha Maker, ideally within a premium lounge, restaurant, or luxury hospitality venue.
  • Extensive knowledge of shisha preparation techniques, flavour profiles, heat management, and equipment maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of hygiene, health, and safety standards relating to shisha preparation and service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide outstanding guest service.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistency in a fast-paced, high-end environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
