Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all guests. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a vibrant restaurant environment, with a focus on teamwork, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Duties

  • Welcome guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
  • Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally, maintaining high standards of presentation
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations to upsell menu items and enhance guest experience
  • Ensure tables are cleared efficiently and reset for new guests
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas in accordance with food safety standards
  • Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed, supporting overall restaurant operations
  • Handle guest enquiries courteously, resolving any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
  • Process payments accurately using the POS system, handling card transactions

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members
  • Basic maths skills for billing and transaction processing
  • A friendly demeanour with a genuine passion for guest service and hospitality excellence
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining professionalism under pressure
  • Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
