About Us

myGP Clinic is a private GP company with clinics in Wilmslow, Stretton and Antrobus, and plans to open more across the North West. At myGP Clinic, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient care and a seamless healthcare experience. We’re seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organised Medical Receptionist to join our front-of-house team at the Stretton and Antrobus sites and be the first point of contact for our patients.

Role Overview

In the role as Front of House, you’ll be responsible for providing excellent customer service, supporting our clinical team, managing administrative tasks, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the clinic. Your role will ensure every patient feels welcome, cared for, and supported from the moment they arrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally.
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out, including updating electronic health records.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and manage appointments, consultations, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with regulations.
  • Process payments and co-payments accurately.
  • Organise and prepare documentation, forms, and medical files for appointments and referrals.
  • Oversee the reception area, ensuring it remains clean, organised, and welcoming.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, and Health Care assistants) to ensure smooth clinic operations.
  • Order and manage office and basic medical supplies.
  • Follow policies, procedures, and privacy regulations.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and empathetic approach.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and electronic medical record (EMR) software.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, or insurance processes is an advantage.
  • Professionalism, confidentiality, and a positive attitude are essential.

What We Offer

£30,000-£32,000 depending on experience. Monday to Friday 8am-5pm/ 9am-6pm with an hour for lunch, roughly one Saturday morning a month, 22 days holiday plus your birthday off, free GP care for you.
