Location: The Saddle Room Restaurant, Tupgill Park Stables, Coverham, Leyburn, DL8 4TJ
Employment Type: Full-Time & Part-Time roles available (to include evenings and weekends)
Pay Rate: Dependent on experience and age above national minimum wage + a fair share of generous staff tips

About Us

The Saddle Room Restaurant is an award-winning venue set in a beautifully converted racehorse stable yard in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. Nestled next to The Forbidden Corner on the stunning Tupgill Park Estate, we pride ourselves on serving "Grand Honest Food" using a think-local, buy-local approach. Whether our guests are dining in our unique stable booths or celebrating a wedding in our Bell Barn, we deliver genuine, top-tier Yorkshire hospitality.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly, genuine, and hardworking front of house staff to join our team. To succeed with us, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Reliable & Punctual: Always on time for scheduled shift patterns.
  • Willing to Learn: Ready to master our menus, drinks selection, and service standards.
  • A Real Team Player: Loves working closely with others in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible: Available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Own Transport: Must have your own transport due to our rural countryside location.
  • Right to Work: We do not offer visa sponsorship; applicants must already hold the right to work in the UK.

Prior experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be given! Please note that no live-in accommodation options are currently available.

What You Will Do

  • Welcome guests with a warm smile and provide genuine, attentive customer service.
  • Take food and drink orders accurately and deliver them efficiently to tables.
  • Prepare and serve drinks behind our busy bar.
  • Assist with events including weddings, events, and private parties.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the restaurant and bar.
