Responsibilities

Assist with meal and food preparation by chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients to ensure timely service.
Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness and organization of workstations, utensils, and storage areas.
Help with food safety procedures by adhering to hygiene standards and proper storage protocols.
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and slicing vegetables or other items as directed.
Assist with serving food to customers or guests in a courteous and efficient manner.
Ensure that all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly for optimal performance.
Support inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels.

Experience

Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; we welcome eager learners!
Familiarity with meal preparation, food safety standards, and kitchen operations will help you succeed in this role.
Hands-on experience with food preparation techniques such as chopping, mixing, or plating is advantageous.
A background in culinary arts or related training can enhance your ability to contribute effectively.
