Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment where your hospitality skills and attention to detail will be highly valued. Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
  • Greet guests warmly and take their orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and promptness
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment
  • Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to all food safety regulations
  • Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately
  • Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
  • Engage with customers to create a friendly atmosphere and promote repeat business
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

Experience

  • Previous experience working as a bartender or in a hospitality role within a restaurant or bar setting is essential
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is desirable
  • Strong serving skills with the ability to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during shifts
  • Proven ability to work well within a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and customers
