Chef de Partie

Reports to: Head Chef

About us:

Owston Hall Hotel & Estate is a growing business with big plans for 2024 and beyond. Currently a 32-bedroom country house hotel with championship golf course, the hotel has plans to develop a brand new state of the art Spa & wellness centre as well redevelopment of all bar, restaurant and function space.

Job Description:

We are seeking a mature and highly competent Chef de Partie who is passionate about producing creative and unique dishes for all of our guests. You’ll support the brigade in running sections of the kitchen, while having the opportunity to progress in your career.

  • Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chefs in the day to day running of the kitchen
  • Work to safe and legal practices
  • To ensure the training and standards are kept at all times
  • Ensure all products entering and leaving the kitchens are to the set standards
  • To work with the team to set SOP’s given to you
  • Track, replenish and keep in date order the stock holding
  • Be pro-active in all actions and tasks set out for you

About You

  • The successful individual will be willing to learn and have impeccable standards with an eye for detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Have experience working in a busy kitchen
  • A passion and flair for delivering quality food consistently in a fast-paced environment
  • Have excellent timekeeping skills
  • Demonstrate high standards of hygiene in terms of both appearance and working practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to £32,000.00 per year
