Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Commis Chef / Chef de Partie to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional dining experiences by preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. Duties

  • Prepare and cook ingredients according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish

  • Support the team during busy service periods by efficiently managing meal preparation and plating
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols to uphold health standards and prevent contamination
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely delivery of orders
  • Maintain stock levels by monitoring ingredients and notifying management of shortages or expiry dates
  • Serve dishes to guests with professionalism and a friendly attitude, ensuring a positive dining experience

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food safety regulations
  • Excellent kitchen experience with the ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving procedures and customer service standards
  • Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining high-quality presentation
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset to collaborate effectively with colleagues
