Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Kitchen Hand and Customer Service Associate, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create a welcoming environment for our guests. In this role, you'll support food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and deliver exceptional service to ensure every customer has a memorable experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills while providing top-notch customer care in a lively, fast-paced setting.

Duties

  • Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, assembling, and plating dishes to meet quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and managing waste disposal.
  • Support the kitchen team in ensuring food safety protocols are followed at all times.
  • Serve customers at the counter or table with friendly and efficient service, taking orders and answering inquiries.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely food delivery and customer service.
  • Help monitor stock levels and notify supervisors when supplies need replenishing.

Experience

  • Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
  • Basic knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
  • Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is advantageous.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with team members and customers alike.
  • Familiarity with serving procedures and upselling techniques will be highly valued.
