Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Duty Manager/Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our bar and restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards. This role offers an opportunity to lead a dynamic team, uphold operational excellence, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Previous experience working in a bar and/or restaurant environment is essential, along with strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Manage and oversee team members, including scheduling, training, and performance management
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations at all times
  • Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment of supplies
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within service areas
  • This is a hands-on role, serving customers as well as setting standards for the team
  • Uphold the organisation’s policies on safety, hygiene, and service standards
