Full job description

After an incredibly successful opening, we’re growing the kitchen team at Whirlybird and looking for two Chef de Parties to join us.

We’re looking for good cooks who care about ingredients, enjoy working in a busy kitchen and, just as importantly, are good people to have around.

Whirlybird is a busy, modern Scottish restaurant with a simple approach — great produce, great cooking and a team that takes the food seriously without taking itself too seriously.

You’ll be joining an ambitious kitchen with a strong team already in place, and plenty of opportunity to learn, develop and be part of what we’re building.

What we’re looking for:

  • Chef de Partie level, or a strong Demi ready to step up
  • A genuine interest in food and ingredients
  • Calm, organised and reliable
  • Someone who contributes to a positive kitchen culture
  • Ambition to learn and progress

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary
  • Equal share of Tronc
  • Staff food
  • A supportive, professional kitchen
  • Extra holidays for time serves
  • Genuine opportunities to progress as we grow
  • A senior team that really cares

If you fancy being part of Whirlybird, we’d love to hear from you.

Send us your CV and a little bit about yourself.

Pay: £31,000.00-£33,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Company pension
  • Discounted or free food
  • Employee discount
  • Flexible schedule
