Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food, prepare and serve beverages, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred, along with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of tables before and after service.
  • Handle payments accurately using the POS system and provide correct change.
  • Assist in food preparation or kitchen duties as required, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to answer guest questions confidently.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
  • Uphold health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and hygiene practices.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities.
  • Good communication skills with an emphasis on guest services.
  • Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing purposes.
  • Experience with upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales.
  • Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not mandatory.
  • A friendly demeanour with the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
