The role

Our mission is to support regenerative agriculture, work closely with trusted growers and millers, and craft exceptional baked goods that nourish both people and planet.

We are looking for a passionate, skilled Baker to join our small, friendly team. This is an opportunity to be part of a business that values quality, sustainability, and genuine warmth in everything we do.

Location: Main Bakery, Hatters Lane, Chipping Sodbury

Hours: Full time (37.5), 4am - 12pm

Wednesday and Saturday off

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be flexible, hardworking, self –motivated and be able to work as part of a team.
  • Be dextrous and able to work at a high pace
  • Have a positive attitude to change, contributing to new ideas and improved ways of working
  • Communicate appropriately, openly and effectively with colleagues and customers

Responsibilities would include:

  • Mixing, shaping and baking a range of breads to the companies standards.
  • Maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
  • Supporting stock rotation and ingredient preparation, weighing up accurately as required.
  • Upholding food hygiene and safety standards
  • Ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly.
  • Follow production lists and ensure numbers are met.
  • Report anything substandard to the head baker for inspection.

We are a friendly and busy bakery making a wide range of artisan sourdoughs, overnight doughs, rolls, and speciality bread; many of which are award winning. Our confectionary team make a wide range of delicious loaf cakes, tray bakes and pastries.
