Full job description

Rothay Manor Hotel is a Luxury Boutique 4 Red Star Hotel with a 3AA Rosette Restaurant called Rowan, based on the outskirts of Ambleside in the English Lake District.

We are seeking full time 'Food & Beverage Assistant' to join our Rowan Restaurant team:

  • Hourly rate £13.00 per hour
  • Monthly Gratuities (Circa £150-£350 per month)
  • Staff Accommodation is available upon request
  • Staff Meals on Duty

Previous experience is required in a good hotel or restaurant environment.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for excellent food and drink, coupled with an eagerness to learn, and excellent communication skills.

You must be hard working and well presented, with excellent time keeping and a can do attitude.

The normal working week is 5 days out of 7, with days off consecutively. The role requires a combination of split and straight shifts totalling approximately 40 hours per week.

You will receive 28 days paid holiday per year and uniform is provided.

You must be eligible to work in the UK, sponsorship is not available.

All employees are free to join our NEST Pension Scheme with generous employer contributions.

2 Meals per day are available when on duty

Free wi-fi is provided.
