Breakfast & Daytime Supervisor

Delta Hotels by Marriott Colchester is looking for an enthusiastic and organised Breakfast & Daytime Supervisor to lead our morning operations and help deliver exceptional hospitality to our guests.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily breakfast service, supervising and supporting the team, and maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and customer service. In addition, the role includes managing lunchtime service, overseeing the daytime lobby and bar operation, and coordinating food and beverage service for conferences and meetings.

Working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, the Breakfast & Daytime Supervisor will support the smooth day-to-day operation of all daytime food and beverage services. The role also includes assisting with staff training and development, stock control, rota management, and ensuring all health and safety and food hygiene standards are consistently met.

This is a hands-on role that requires excellent leadership, strong organisational skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality. The successful candidate will lead by example, motivate the team, and help create a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest while upholding the high standards and values of Delta Hotels by Marriott.

This is a full-time position, working 5 days out of 7, including regular weekends and bank holidays, in line with the operational needs of the business. Flexibility is essential to support the varying demands of hotel operations.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous supervisory experience within a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and organisational abilities.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • A good understanding of food hygiene, health and safety, and licensing regulations.
  • A positive, proactive attitude with a flexible approach to work.
