Full job description

Minutas Argentine Street Food is looking for a friendly, reliable FOH All-Rounder to join our small team at Folkestone Harbour Arm.

The role is mainly front of house, but you'll need to be happy getting stuck in wherever needed. In a small food business, everyone helps out.

The role includes:

  • Welcoming and serving customers
  • Taking orders and using the till
  • Preparing and serving food and drinks
  • Running orders to customers
  • Keeping the service area clean and organised
  • Helping with food preparation when needed
  • Supporting the team during busy periods
  • Opening and closing duties

What we're looking for:

  • Friendly and confident with customers
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Practical, helpful and willing to learn
  • Comfortable working in a busy environment
  • Able to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Previous hospitality or customer-service experience is useful, but not essential
  • Available to work both Saturdays and Sundays regularly
  • Training & Progression

We're keen to invest in the right people. As you gain experience, demonstrate reliability and develop your skills, there may be an opportunity to progress into a Team Leader role following further training. This would come with additional responsibility and an increase in pay.

Hours vary depending on the season, opening days and how busy we are. Additional shifts may be available during busier periods, including November's Christmas market.

Pay: From £8.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4.0 – 15.0 per week
