Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the creation of delicious and visually appealing dishes that meet high standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • Assist in menu planning and develop new culinary ideas to enhance our offerings
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing, sanitising, and storing utensils and ingredients
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Serve food to customers in a professional manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Adhere to food safety protocols at all times, including correct handling and storage of ingredients

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
  • Previous experience in meal preparation and serving is desirable
  • A recognised culinary qualification is preferred but not essential for highly motivated candidates with relevant experience
  • Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends if necessary
